Where would I typically use ExiVision EXV extenders?

•  Information screens: Important real time data such as arrival/departure times at an airport or train station or share prices at a stock exchange can be simultaneously broadcast to multiple remote monitors.
• Entertainment: Broadcast television shows, sports events etc. in restaurants, bars or pubs
• Advertising: video promotions in stores or malls.
• Security Monitoring: Broadcast CCTV outputs to various locations in a facility so that security staff can view sensitive areas from multiple remote locations.
• Education and Training: Place multiple monitors in your training facility for more effective instruction.
• Product Demonstration: Show multimedia presentations of your products and services in the showroom, boardroom, in window displays, and exhibitions or trade shows.
• Events: Broadcast live action at Stadiums and race-tracks into blind areas such as corridors, offices and bars so that the action can be followed constantly.

How do I select the correct ExiVision EXV parts?

The system comprises two parts, so first choose the transmitter which best suits your needs – and then choose the appropriate receiver unit(s).

Things to remember;

If you are using cat6 or 7 cable then you should choose receivers with Skew compensation adjustment.

Receivers can be of mixed types so that your application can be fulfilled perfectly and you can re-use various monitors of various types. Some receivers feature two video outputs so that the same display can be shown twice at any receiver location – this is a great feature for double-sided displays.
